Associate Product Owner

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Associate Product Owner to support our Planning & Forecasting Product team. The successful candidate will work closely with the Product Owner to define and prioritise product features and requirements and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the product is developed and delivered according to customer needs and business goals.
The Planning & Forecasting portfolio supports a diverse range of stakeholders and functions within Primark – including but not limited to Buying & Merchandising. We have responsibility for delivering technology solutions to meet the support the rapidly evolving retail landscape and therefore must be comfortable working in an agile manner and respond to changing business needs.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Product Owner in defining and prioritising product features and requirements for Products, based on customer feedback and market research.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as engineering, within Technology and key business stakeholders to ensure that the product is developed and delivered according to customer needs and business goals.
- Responsible with the Product Owner for the delivery, implementation and support of applications within the P&F area
- Create and maintain product documentation, including user stories & acceptance criteria.
- Assist with product launch activities, such as coordinating beta testing and training end users within Primark.
- Monitor product metrics and KPIs, and make data-driven decisions to improve the product and drive business results.
- Work with the Product Owner to identify and mitigate risks associated with product development and delivery.
- Support the Product Owner in maintaining a product roadmap and backlog.
- Contribute to the management/ development of BAs in the team
- Oversees & documents the successful implementation of any risks/ controls related to the products
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in product ownership or delivery, with a background in retail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with Agile methodology and product development processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
