Life as an Assistant MerchandiserDo you have several years of merchandising experience and a knack for Maths and English? Maybe you’re already a talented merchandiser working in retail? What we’re looking for
An experienced candidate with knowledge of fashion and the ability to stay on top of things in a fast paced environment
Some of your key responsibilities would include:
An eye for detail - In addition to normal Assistant Merchandiser stuff, you’ll be responsible for meeting KPIs, hitting budgets, and a couple of strategic roles, including assisting in the WSSI stock forecasting process.
Precision problem solving - Your mathematical mind will help you maintain accurate records, report discrepancies, and make key trading decisions to increase sales and profit.
Range awareness - In collaboration with the Buying team, you’ll be building the range by advising on option plans and budgets for the year ahead.
Communication skills - You’ll assist in the training of new Assistant Merchandisers and Administrators, and manage Trainee Merchandisers to help grow their career.
Access to leadership - You’ll always have the opportunity to present to senior stakeholders in weekly trade and sign-off meetings.
