Role: Benefits & Wellbeing Lead

Purpose of role:
Managing and enhancing our colleague benefit offering and communication, while also setting up Primark’s Wellbeing function and leading and delivering the Global Wellbeing Strategy.

Reports to: Head of Benefits & Wellbeing
Location: Dublin

Key responsibilities
Responsibilities of the Benefits & Wellbeing Manager include:
Benefits:
  • Management of the Primark’s medical insurances across all markets we operate in, including renewals, liaising with benefit brokers & providers as required, maximising offering from service providers for colleagues, promoting all aspects of the services amongst colleagues and acting as the primary point of contact.
  • Management of Primark’s Employee Assistance Programme across all markets, managing multiple service providers and promoting the service across all markets, analysing usage to identify trends and priority areas at a Global and Regional level.
  • Leading any change to healthcare and EAP services, benefits or providers, including any new or enhanced benefits or services in new and existing markets.
  • Drive the communication of Benefit offerings to enhance colleague awareness of benefits, particularly the key touch points at each stage of the employee life cycle.
  • Work hand in hand with the wider benefits & reward teams to develop & enhance our Total Reward offering to ensure Primark can attract and retain talent and is an employer of choice.
Wellbeing:
  • Proactively design and execute wellbeing projects and initiatives at global, regional and local level.
  • Develop a structured approach to the prioritisation and governance of Wellbeing initiatives.
  • Lead the implementation of Primark’s Global Wellbeing Programme across all markets.
  • Drive the communication of Wellbeing initiatives to enhance colleague awareness and usage of Wellbeing supports.
  • Secure & onboard service providers for various aspects of wellbeing and managing those ongoing relationships.
  • Build relationships with key stakeholders across the organisation to promote and deliver the Wellbeing agenda, including with our Retail and Product teams to create a connection between our proposition to customer and to our colleague from a Wellbeing perspective.
  • Develop external networks that allow leading edge Wellbeing knowledge and ideas to be shared in the business.
  • Collaborate closely with Talent & Development teams, particularly on the introduction and development of Wellbeing related training.

Essential Knowledge Skills & Experience
Experience required for the Benefits & Wellbeing Manager includes:
  • Strong international benefits management experience is essential.
  • Must have experience in Wellbeing, ideally at an international level.
  • Must have a passion for Wellbeing.
  • Can- do attitude, results orientated and the ability to drive projects to completion.
  • Strong collaboration, influencing and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to create and implement innovative ideas.
  • People management experience desirable.
