The Sourcing Specialist at Primark is a crucial part of the teams responsible for talent acquisition, business partnering, and creative sourcing strategies. They proactively engage with key talent, build pipelines for the future, and maintain relationships with silver medallists, senior hires, and internal talent. By reducing reliance on recruitment agencies and enhancing direct sourcing efforts, this role strengthens Primark’s presence in competitive markets and optimizes recruitment processes across Global Central Functions.

What You’ll Do:
In your role, you’ll collaborate with different people across a range of skillsets. Here’s a flavour of your day-to-day:
  • Talent Acquisition: Ensure efficient and effective recruitment processes, ensuring a top-notch experience for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Direct Sourcing Model: Collaborate with TA Specialists and hiring managers to deliver strategic sourcing for each role, providing proactive search, discovery, and engagement of new key talent for Primark.
  • Strategic Candidate Evaluation: Assess candidates beyond qualifications, aligning with Primark’s values and culture to enhance quality of hire and reduce attrition.
  • Skill Gap Identification: Collaborate with TA Specialists and hiring managers to identify current skill gaps and proactively pipeline future skills.
  • Employer Brand Enhancement: Collaborate with the Employer Brand team to enhance recruitment marketing campaigns.
  • Data-Driven Approach: Utilize industry best practices, applicant tracking systems, and data analysis to support our direct sourcing model and improve hiring outcomes.

What You’ll Bring

  • Recruitment Process Management: Demonstrated experience in delivering core recruitment elements, including sourcing, advertising, assessing, and conducting competency-based interviews.
  • Proactive Sourcing: Proven ability to proactively source candidates within an in-house recruitment team.
  • KPI-Focused Approach: Ability to work to key performance indicators (KPIs) for efficient and effective hiring across all levels.
  • Stakeholder Management: Enhanced relationship-building skills with a proven history of handling multiple senior stakeholder groups.
  • Market Mapping and Engagement: Experience creating market and talent heat maps and engaging senior-level candidates.
  • Digital and Social Media Sourcing: Proficiency in utilizing digital and social media channels beyond traditional job boards to build candidate pipelines.
