Integration Delivery Manager

Purpose of role: Manage Primark’s Integration Centre of Excellence enabling an approach aligned with industry best practice to increase integration maturity and deliver benefits for Primark

Reports to:Technology Development & Test Manager
Key Responsibilities:
  • Champion the Integration Centre of Excellence within technology, overseeing all aspects of delivery and driving benefits [Time/Cost/Quality] for Primark
  • Develop and maintain an integration strategy and roadmap to support Primark’s increasingly complex hybrid cloud environment
  • Actively build and progress the capability of the Integration Centre of Excellence enabling an approach aligned with industry best practice and increasing Primark’s integration maturity
  • Act as gatekeeper for Primark’s integration standards & principles and help to avoid future integration technical debt
  • Manage agreed budgets for the Integration Centre of Excellence delivering value for Primark
  • Be an active participant on Primark’s Design Council
  • Provide leadership, guidance and awareness on integration topics
  • Work with Primark’s information security and data protection teams to ensure that standards are reinforced and complied with
  • Plan and prioritise work schedules and scope within agreed timescales
  • Expand the tools, techniques and standards for the Integration Centre of Excellence ensuring licensing tracked and compliant


Essential knowledge, skills and experience:
  • Proven experience in a management role across the full application development life cycle
  • Technically strong across a range of IT disciplines and systems, with experience delivering integration systems
  • Demonstratable knowledge of integration standards and industry trends
  • Experienced managing outsourced team/s (on-shore & off-shore)
  • Proven delivery track record with strong planning, budgeting & estimation skills
  • IT related 3rd level qualification [or equivalent related experience which demonstrates in-depth expertise]
  • Desirable Professional Certifications: PRINCE2, MSP, ITIL

  • Effective and persuasive presentation skills, including the ability to present complex information in an understandable manner to all areas of the business
  • Experience of vendor management
  • Strong people skills – team leadership as well as a team player
  • Pro-active and hands on - responds purposefully to events
  • High level of energy, curious minded, a positive can-do attitude
  • Ability to operate within a highly pressurised and fast paced environment, consistently delivering results and achieving corporate objectives on time and within the agreed parameters
  • Sharp awareness of commercial reality; while being innovative and forward thinking
  • Ability to travel and work flexible hours as required
