What You’ll Do as a Procurement Analyst
In your role, you’ll collaborate with different people across a range of skillsets. Here’s a flavour of your day-to-day:
- Combine data from different sources to create a unified dataset for analysis.
- Convert data into a suitable format for analysis, including normalization, aggregation, and classification.
- Summarize historical data to understand what has happened in the past. Identify trends, patterns and other relevant insights
- Develop interactive dashboards using tools like Tableau and Power BI to display key metrics and trends.
- Build relationships with key stakeholders across multiple functions, including packaging, sourcing, and buying & merchandising.
- Ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights that can easily be understood by wider teams within the business.
- Provide in-depth analysis on forecasts, stock management, and order analysis.
- Report findings and suggest where there may be supply concerns or where the business may need to create corrective action plans.
- Collaborate with the Packaging Procurement Advisor, Sourcing Teams, and Suppliers to ensure accurate price matrices for all SKUs in all regions.
- Compare supplier price indices and market data, reporting irregularities for further negotiation.
- Regularly calculate spend profiles by Supplier, Region, Category, SKU, and other ad hoc analyses.
- Maintain category spend data for all nominated packaging suppliers
What You’ll Bring

- 2+ years related experience in an analyst, project manager or similar role
- Experience in handling large volume of complex data in a large fast paced organisation with multi-currency and multi-national exposure is essential.
- Demonstrated ability to forge close business relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience of working within fast-paced and matrixed organisations
- Ability to meet deadlines and prepare regular reports to share progress and performance.
- Ability to travel if and as required
