Outstanding Service Delivered
The Application Manager – Central Systems & Finance is an exciting and varied role that’s key to delivering the quality service we take pride in offering to both our internal and external customers. You’ll oversee operational relationships and performance of our key Technology Support Partners while, managing expectations of key internal stakeholders to deliver results. Reporting to the Senior Application Support Manager – Application Operations, in this integral role your responsibilities will include vendor management, ownership of incidents and problem resolution and platform optimization.
What we’re looking for
Along with a strong technical background, you understand the underlying Central Systems and Finance business processes. You are familiar with technologies/vendors such as Oracle Financials, Softco, ProStrategy. A confident leader, you are comfortable owning the end-to-end technical solutions and their integrated systems within their function.
Some of your key responsibilities would include:
Working with the relevant support and development teams to identify, design and deliver related IT strategies and solutions whilst controlling costs. You’ll provide technical assistance and direction to the teams, ensuring that all technologies work effectively together.
Governing the delivery of services from a technical perspective including vendor management. You’ll define technical standards to which the delivery teams need to adhere. Along with our subject matter experts you’ll assess the impact of changes to the solution, as well as providing input into the Service Management reports.
You’ll provide technical guidance and mentorship to the support teams to improve the overall effectiveness of the services we deliver, including active knowledge sharing. Offering technical leadership and input into the resolution of all priority incidents.
