The role of the Refit NSO Visual Project Manager includes leading refits, new store openings, and visual equipment rollouts from initial planning through to final handover, ensuring exceptional delivery standards and full alignment with brand guidelines and the desired store experience. This role ensures consistency across the GB market by working collaboratively with cross‑functional teams and driving efficiency as the central point of coordination for the GB visual team.
What You’ll Do as Refit NSO Visual Project Manager:
We want you to feel challenged and inspired. Here, you’ll develop your skills across a range of responsibilities:
- Lead end‑to‑end delivery of refits, new stores, and visual equipment rollouts—from planning through to handover—ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and an excellent store experience.
- Develop and manage detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, risk reviews, and store‑specific VM overlays to ensure consistency across all store grades.
- Coordinate cross‑functional teams (Store Design, Space Planning, VM, Regional Retail, Central Functions) to ensure timely execution of all VM milestones and onsite support needs.
- Engage, train and upskill store teams ahead of refit and rollout activity by facilitating workshops, classroom sessions, and virtual training with RVM partners.
- Provide visual guidance and issue resolution, leading remediation of equipment and POS challenges during the NSO/Refit process while serving as a key escalation point for the GB market.
- Identify common themes across the GB market and influence improvements while building and shaping a strong talent pipeline of VM Managers and Visual Merchandisers to support future programmes.
What You’ll Bring:
We want every person in our organisation to feel like they’re making a key contribution. Here are some of the experiences and skills you’ll need for the role:
Over 5 years’ experience in multi‑site visual merchandising leadership, with a strong track record in managing regional/area-level VM across the GB market, including extensive hands-on involvement in new store openings and refits.
Exceptional collaborator and cross-functional partner, able to influence, engage, and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels while maintaining confidentiality, professionalism, and strong emotional intelligence.
Proven capability in training, coaching, and developing teams, with experience delivering workshops, training days, and upskilling programmes that build VM capability across stores.
Highly organised, detail‑oriented, and data‑literate, with strong planning, prioritisation, and multi-tasking abilities—able to manage complex workloads, analyse large amounts of information, and maintain high standards of accuracy and execution.
