Purpose of the role:
As Primark embarks on an exciting journey of growth through international Franchise partnerships, the Franchise Marketing Manager will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between Primark’s internal Customer and Digital Teams, the Franchise Team and our external Franchise partners.
This newly created role will act as the single point of contact for all brand & marketing-franchise related matters, ensuring effective collaboration, issue resolution, and delivery to our Franchise partners and territories.
This role will report to the Director of Marketing on a hardline basis and the Head of Franchise on a dotted line basis.
What You’ll Do as an Franchise Marketing Manager:
In your role, you’ll collaborate with different people across a range of skillsets. Here’s a flavour of your day-to-day:
- Work across the Primark business to deliver joined-up marketing campaigns with the franchise, customer, digital, commercial and merchandising teams.
- Refine and approve our global marketing plan, to best represent and serve the needs of our partners, balanced with our owned business.
- Ensure marketing and VM materials are shared with partners (and implemented) in line with Franchise stock movements (noting lead time differences between Franchise and our ‘owned’ business).
- Has accountability & sign-off permissions for marketing material ‘localisations’ that are proposed by our Franchise partners.
- Responsible for gaining Brand approval on localised/adapted marketing material, campaigns, assets and creative.
- Act as a single (initial) point of contact for both the Franchise team, and our partner(s) across customer and digital, including Influencer, Social and Loyalty.
What You’ll Bring
Here at Primark, we want everyone to feel valued – so please bring your authentic self to work, of course with some other key experience and abilities for this role in particular:
- 5+ years’ experience in marketing or digital marketing, ideally within fashion, beauty, retail, or lifestyle
- Strong understanding of digital channels and social media platforms
- Excellent copywriting skills and a feel for fashion forward storytelling
- Ability to analyse data and translate insights into actionable recommendations
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with multiple projects
- Highly organised, proactive, and detail oriented. Strong cross functional communication skills
- Desirable Skills: Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or similar content creation tools; basic understanding of paid media metrics (CTR, ROAS, CPA, CPM); knowledge of SEO or email marketing platforms.
