As a Business Implementation Manager at Primark oversees the full planning, design, and rollout of Planning and Ranging solutions, acting as the link between business teams, technology, and external partners. The role focuses on delivering new and improved product planning capabilities, designing and training on new forecasting models, and supporting global expansion. It requires strong communication and stakeholder management, along with an understanding of economic, digital, regulatory, sustainability, and market‑expansion priorities to ensure the business remains future-ready.
What You’ll Do as Business Implementation Manager
In your role, you’ll collaborate with different people across a range of skillsets. Here’s a flavour of your day-to-day:
- Lead the end‑to‑end planning, design, delivery, and Hypercare of the Assortment Planning solution, ensuring business readiness and successful implementation.
- Drive continuous improvement of the module, ensuring smooth integration with Planning systems and connected platforms such as PLM, PIM, and other key business tools.
- Manage and support external business dependencies, including Depots, Franchise partners, and other third‑party stakeholders, ensuring aligned processes and outcomes.
- Own change management, communications, training, and business requirement activities, providing ongoing support to ensure effective adoption.
- Oversee pillar budgets and resourcing, partnering closely with the Project Manager to maintain strong governance, alignment, and delivery against agreed plans.
- Lead cross‑functional collaboration, testing with the Technology Product Owner, stakeholder and vendor management, and the development of a high‑performing team through capability building and engagement.

What You’ll Bring
Here at Primark, we want everyone to feel valued – so please bring your authentic self to work, of course with some other key experience and abilities for this role in particular:
- Brings a strong background in merchandising with around 5 years’ experience, including 2+ years leading teams, supported by relevant fashion/retail/commerce qualifications or equivalent experience.
- Proven track record in delivering complex business implementations and system rollouts, with deep understanding of planning systems, integrations, governance, budgeting and resource management.
- Skilled in change management, training, user support and driving business adoption, with the ability to problem‑solve effectively and deliver through others.
- Strong leadership capability, experienced in managing and developing teams, and able to operate effectively in fast‑paced, cross‑functional environments.
- Excellent stakeholder and vendor management, with credible communication skills, executive presence, and the ability to influence, present and push back professionally.
- Displays strong personal attributes including high integrity, emotional intelligence, sound judgement, strong planning/organisation skills, and the ability to build trusted relationships across all levels.
