We’re looking for a highly skilled, detail-focused In‑House Studio Stylist to support the styling of high-quality still life imagery across fashion, home, and beauty for e‑commerce, campaigns, product launches, social, and editorial content. You’ll work closely with Art Direction, the Still Life Photographer, Retoucher, and wider studio teams to bring creative concepts to life through thoughtful styling, prop selection, and composition while maintaining elevated visual standards and contributing to evolving studio processes and style guides. This role is ideal for a confident, organised stylist who thrives in a fast-paced retail studio and is passionate about producing best‑in‑class fashion and lifestyle imagery.


What You’ll Do as a Still Life Stylist

In your role, you’ll collaborate with different people across a range of skillsets. Here’s a flavour of your day-to-day:  

  • Style still life imagery for e‑commerce, campaigns, product launches, social, and digital marketing; execute styling under Art Director guidance; style across fashion, home, and beauty; deliver high‑quality work for high‑volume shoots; capture social‑first content including motion/GIFs/videos; interpret briefs and contribute ideas to elevate styling and storytelling.
  • Work closely with the Still Life Photographer on composition and on‑set adjustments; partner with the Retoucher for effective post‑production translation; collaborate with studio, brand, and production teams; support asset delivery within workflows, timelines, and naming conventions; participate in image and styling reviews to maintain style guides.
  • Source, research, organise, and coordinate props, products, and materials; prepare items for shooting through steaming, cleaning, arranging, dressing, and resetting; maintain studio organisation, prop storage, tools, and equipment; assist with shot lists, timelines, and production planning; support ad‑hoc off‑site styling or photography projects.
  • Ensure consistent, elevated visual standards; maintain high levels of finish and detail in styled imagery; and contribute to the consistency of studio asset rules and brand guidelines.
  • Contribute to evolving studio style guides and asset rules; seek continuous improvements in quality, processes, efficiency, and creative capability; and generate ideas that push creative boundaries and enhance studio output.
  • Share learning, ideas, and best practices across teams; collaborate proactively to support team objectives; and set priorities aligned with broader business and brand goals.

 

 


What You’ll Bring

  • Includes 4+ years’ experience in still life or studio styling, a strong portfolio across fashion/home/beauty, proven e‑commerce and commercial photography styling, and experience in a fast‑paced fashion retail environment.
  • Requires excellent understanding of composition, balance, texture, colour, and visual storytelling; strong ability to interpret and execute creative briefs; and a fashion‑forward, product‑aware, visually literate approach.
  • Demands strong organisational and time‑management skills, ability to stay calm under pressure, exceptional attention to detail, strong cross‑functional communication skills, and solid knowledge of industry‑standard studio workflows.
  • Includes experience with basic motion or short‑form product video, understanding how styling translates between still and motion assets, and familiarity with social‑first or digital campaign content.
  • Looks for someone who operates with integrity and professionalism, is detail‑oriented, able to meet tight deadlines, collaborative, proactive, solution‑focused, and passionate about world‑class fashion and lifestyle imagery.
  • Requires the ability to build strong internal and external working relationships, contributing positively to team culture and cross‑functional collaboration.
