What You’ll Do:

In your role, you’ll collaborate with different people across a range of skillsets. Here’s a flavour of your day-to-day:

  1. With the Commercial Manager, ensure sales performance in the market by managing local market conditions including product assortment decisions, correct stock levels and intake dates to reflect local demographics. – change this to more local i.e working with Commercial Manager, boost performance of a region?
  2. Work closely with the Commercial Manager to identify and agree all markdown priorities and implement a structured follow up process to ensure that all lines sell through.
  3. Analyse and review risks with the Commercial Manager to review country cover to identify and highlight any areas/sections for inter-country transfer. Again change to more regional based rather than country?
  4. Enable effective two-way communication between Retail and B, M & D by effectively communicating feedback from the market to identify key opportunity areas and product information to the retail teams.
  5. Identify pricing issues to the Commercial on competitor price, product and location in the market.

What You’ll Bring

  1. Minimum 3 years plus experience in Primark, having reached minimum Store Manager level and demonstrated advanced commercial knowledge to date.
  2. Attention to detail and an ability to analyse and interrogate reports as well as demonstrating an ability to focus on higher level overview.
  3. Knowledge of Primark product and processes.
  4. Ability to identify and spot product trends and key product opportunities.
  5. Solid communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally throughout the business and engage and collaborate with key stakeholders.
