What You’ll Do as Internal Communications Business Partner (FTC 12 months)

In your role, you’ll collaborate with different people across a range of skillsets. Here’s a flavour of your day-to-day:  

  • Strategic Communications Planning: Develop and deliver internal communications and engagement plans aligned with Primark’s global strategy and market priorities.
  • Engaging Content Creation: Drive best-in-class engagement initiatives using compelling storytelling, video, and digital content to build advocacy and brand connection among colleagues.
  • Senior Leadership Advisory: Act as a strategic advisor to senior leaders, shaping and delivering clear, consistent messaging aligned with business strategy, purpose, and values.
  • Change Communications Delivery: Lead integrated change communications to support transformation initiatives and guide colleagues effectively through change journeys.
  • Campaign & Stakeholder Management: Partner with Corporate Affairs and cross-functional teams to deliver integrated campaigns, managing timelines, stakeholders, and execution.
  • Channel Adoption & Event Support: Promote internal communication channels (e.g., ZING), measure engagement impact, support key events end-to-end, and manage crisis communications when required.

What You’ll Bring

  • Extensive Experience: Over 5 years’ experience delivering large-scale, multi-channel internal communications and engagement strategies within global organisations.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Exceptional ability to translate complex business information into clear, compelling content across various internal channels.
  • Change & Crisis Expertise: Proven experience in managing both change communications and crisis situations effectively.
  • Proactive & Self-Driven: A confident self-starter with strong initiative and the ability to work independently.
  • Influencing & Stakeholder Management: Skilled at building trusted advisory relationships and influencing senior leaders to drive alignment and action.
  • Creative Storytelling: Innovative and detail-oriented storyteller, capable of designing engaging content that motivates and connects colleagues.
