What You’ll Do as a DLP Analyst

We want you to feel challenged and inspired. Here, you’ll develop your skills across a range of responsibilities:

  • Monitored and responded to DLP alerts, conducting detailed investigations to assess risk, impact, and appropriate remediation actions.
  • Coordinated with Service Desk and support teams to review, justify, and unblock restricted emails or uploads while ensuring compliance and due diligence.
  • Maintained accurate records of DLP events, ensuring proper tracking, auditability, and timely documentation of incidents.
  • Produced regular reporting on DLP incidents, trends, and risk exposure, engaging with business stakeholders to support effective resolution.
  • Collaborated with cross-functional teams including Security, IT, and Data Governance, acting as a key liaison between Operations, Policy Owners, and Platform Owners.
  • Analysed trends and recurring issues to recommend improvements, support policy tuning, enhance data classification initiatives, and drive continuous improvement in data protection processes.

What You’ll Bring

  • Proven experience in DLP operations, incident management, or information security, with strong analytical and investigative capabilities to assess and resolve data security events.
  • Solid understanding of DLP tools, data classification frameworks, and discovery technologies, with experience in platforms such as Collibra considered advantageous.
  • In-depth knowledge of structured and unstructured data protection challenges, including risks associated with data transfers, email security, and endpoint controls.
  • Strong technical awareness of DLP policies, enforcement mechanisms, enterprise IT environments, and ticketing systems, alongside compliance and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively across Operations, Support, and Governance teams.
  • Highly organised and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage high-volume workloads (up to 40 hours/week) across investigations, incident coordination, and business enablement, ensuring thorough documentation and auditability.
