What You’ll Do as Colleague Engagement Business Partner
In your role, you’ll collaborate with different people across a range of skillsets. Here’s a flavour of your day-to-day:
- Drive Engagement as a Business Lever: Embed and scale the global engagement strategy, positioning engagement as a key KPI that drives sales, retention, advocacy, and cultural alignment.
- Lead Insight-Driven Campaigns: Use engagement data to design and deliver high-impact, purpose-led campaigns and programmes that translate insight into meaningful action across markets and teams.
- Optimise Lifecycle & Priority Focus: Identify key colleague moments and priority cohorts, focusing efforts where they deliver the greatest impact on engagement and business outcomes.
- Enable Leaders & Managers: Develop practical toolkits, frameworks, and programmes that empower leaders to take action, while embedding engagement, recognition, and feedback into daily practices.
- Influence Through Storytelling: Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, using compelling, data-driven storytelling to position engagement as a driver of performance and growth.
- Foster Collaboration & Consistency: Partner cross-functionally to deliver a connected colleague experience, ensuring global consistency with local flexibility and maximising platform effectiveness (e.g. ZING, Peakon).

What You’ll Bring

- Proven Engagement Expertise: Strong track record of embedding engagement and employee experience strategies within complex, multi-site or global organisations.
- Leadership Influence at Scale: Demonstrated ability to influence senior leaders and shape decision-making across large, diverse teams and markets.
- Centre of Expertise Approach: Experienced in balancing strategy, insight, and execution while operating as a trusted subject matter expert.
- Sector Experience: Background in retail or customer-facing environments preferred, with understanding of large-scale operational dynamics.
- Strong Core Capabilities: Creative, innovative thinker with excellent prioritisation skills and sound judgement in high-complexity environments.
- Communication & Stakeholder Alignment: Exceptional storytelling and communication skills, with the ability to influence and align multiple stakeholders across functions and regions.
