As Assistant License Manager for Primark, you will play a key role in our License team liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
This role also presents the opportunity for an individual with a keen interest in Pop Culture, Fashion and Entertainment to engage in extensive research of relevant publications and platforms, and actively contribute to ideas and innovations within our License team.
What You’ll Do

Planning & Coordination
- Support in the delivery of Primark’s licensed product strategy by managing key commercial processes, maintaining accurate trackers, and enabling smooth campaign launches. You will work closely with the License Manager, buying, merchandising, and trading teams to ensure visibility of licensed ranges and product availability.
- By using existing processes, create, maintain, distribute, and monitor Licensed Trackers, ensuring all information is accurate and up to date.
- Support campaign preparation by reviewing campaign buys and visual guides, preparing campaign availability summaries to support launch readiness. You will also provide Trading Control with timely updates on product availability and contribute to ensuring all campaigns launch on time.
- Review and understand commercial performance across relevant license departments
Trends & Research
- Attend and participate in all seasonal strategy sessions and collate and input into strategy brainstorm and presentation pack
Commercial Awareness
- Demonstrates commercial awareness and knowledge of the Primark brand and retail industry and seeks to understand the Primark customer and regional differences.
Collaboration
- Build and maintain effective working relationships with the client group and key internal and stakeholders including Buying, Merchandising, Brand and Retail.
What You’ll Bring

- Demonstrated work experience in relevant field e.g. Retail/Fashion industry
- Excellent awareness of current consumer trends across multiple consumer profiles, including Gen Z
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, including Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint
- Have a good level of business acumen, sound common sense and a genuine interest in the retail industry.
- Keen interest in Pop Culture, Fashion and Entertainment
