Ethical Trade and Environmental Sustainability at Primark
We're responsible for keeping an eye on Primark’s social and sustainability commitments as part of our Primark Cares strategy. As part of our 130- strong team, you'll collaborate with suppliers, champion ethical practices, and make a tangible difference. All with the purpose of ensuring we meet social compliance, environmental sustainability & legislative requirements, industry initiatives and standards.
The Coordinator will play a key role in supporting the administration requirements for the ETES Operations leadership team based in the UK. This includes liaison with internal and external stakeholders, where required, to organise meetings and business trips. This role demands proficient skills in managing relationships and organising tasks effectively.

What You’ll Do:
In your role, you’ll collaborate with different people across a range of departments, markets and skill sets. Here’s a flavour of your day-to-day:
Planning & Coordination
- Overseeing and ensuring the smooth and efficient day-to-day running of Primark’s Corporate Responsibility team by providing day-to-day support to the Director of ETES Operations, Head of Central Support, Head of Global Audit Assurance, Senior Manager Western Europe, Africa and Americas & Senior Manager Technology and Systems.
- Organise and attend key meetings with the leadership team where required, ensure necessary preparation is completed in advance and post meetings.
- Support in preparation for functional presentations, strategy & monthly meetings.
- Support in the preparation of all materials, including presentations, for internal & external meetings.
- Organise team events taking into consideration the different time zones and work practices of the “in-country” teams.
- Help to draft and post key events/announcements on LinkedIn and Zing accounts for the function.
- Support functional briefings and communications where necessary.
- Ad-hoc projects/tasks as required
Financial:
- Maintain and manage any requirements on invoice coding and processing per ABF’s requirements and deal with queries on any invoices/payments.
What You’ll Bring

- Be an experienced Coordinator or Administrator with 2-3 years’ experience in a large, dynamic organisation or a smaller organisation where you were the 'go-to person' in a busy office environment
- Business-related qualification
- Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
- Have a good level of business acumen, sound common sense and a genuine interest in the retail industry.
- Accuracy, attention to detail and a proactive approach.
- Proficient planning, organising and co-ordinating abilities.
- Effective spoken and written communication skills, complemented by a collaborative spirit
