What You’ll Do
In your role, you’ll collaborate with different people across a range of skillsets. Here’s a flavour of your day-to-day:
- Provide on‑site EHS support across depots, cross docks, retail stores, transport providers, and regional offices to drive continuous improvement.
- Develop and implement standards, programmes, and behavioural initiatives that reduce risk and promote best practice across Primark operations and third‑party partners.
- Coordinate annual external EHS audits for depot and transport operations, ensuring key findings are escalated and resolved.
- Lead high‑quality data collection and reporting to identify trends, highlight risks, and drive corrective action across the supply chain network.
- Collaborate with insurers, external bodies, and EHS groups to strengthen Primark’s EHS performance and reduce operational risk.
- Support retail and central EHS teams to ensure safe store delivery environments, improve DARA outcomes, and maximise energy efficiency and waste‑reduction opportunities across the supply chain.

What You’ll Bring
We want every person in our organisation to feel like they’re making a key contribution. Here are some of the experiences and skills you’ll need for the role:
- Solid EHS expertise with 5+ years’ experience and proven exposure to senior stakeholders.
- A recognised EHS qualification (Degree-level or NEBOSH Diploma) and the confidence to influence across all levels.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and challenge diverse stakeholder groups.
- The ability to work autonomously, manage competing priorities, and deliver high‑quality outcomes to deadlines.
- Strategic thinking with the capability to translate EHS strategy into clear, actionable plans.
- Additional experience in areas such as construction/capex projects, dangerous goods/transport safety, international EHS legislation, or energy and waste‑reduction initiatives.
