What You’ll Do as a European Roll Out Manager

In your role, you’ll collaborate with different people across a range of skillsets. Here’s a flavour of your day-to-day:  

  • Lead full end‑to‑end EPOS rollout delivery across European markets, owning project plans, timelines, dependencies, and overall deployment readiness.
  • Oversee daily deployment activities including technical preparation, store readiness, training alignment, testing, and cutover execution.
  • Line‑manage and coordinate regional rollout teams, ensuring effective resource allocation, prioritisation, and adherence to deployment standards.
  • Serve as the main operational contact for country teams and cross‑functional stakeholders, ensuring clear communication, timely issue escalation, and consistent progress reporting.
  • Manage in‑store and overnight deployments, troubleshoot during go‑live, coordinate hypercare, and ensure stable post‑deployment operations.
  • Drive continuous improvement by capturing lessons learned, updating rollout documentation, standardising processes across markets, and supporting travel and overnight work as required.

What You’ll Bring

  • 5+ years’ experience delivering large-scale transformation projects or multi‑site rollouts, ideally within retail or EPOS environments.
  • Proven track record managing complex multi‑country deployments with strong organisational and project delivery skills.
  • Experience leading a small team (2–5 direct reports) with solid people management and coaching capabilities.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across different countries, cultures, and stakeholder levels.
  • Strong problem‑solving mindset with practical issue resolution experience during high‑priority deployments.
  • Proficiency in project management and productivity tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Trello, MS Office), plus familiarity with EPOS or retail tech rollouts.
