What You’ll Do as a Strategic Finance Business Partner
In your role, you’ll collaborate with different people across a range of skillsets. Here’s a flavour of your day-to-day:
- Act as the lead strategic finance partner, delivering insight and value across the multiyear cost programme.
- Build collaborative, trusted relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels to drive financial outcomes.
- Provide clear, data‑backed analysis to highlight issues, opportunities, and strategic solutions.
- Shape business and financial strategy by bringing fresh ideas, commercial insight, and forward‑looking thinking.
- Lead investment appraisals and guide decision‑making with a balance of financial analysis and strategic perspective.
- Operate proactively and independently, managing multiple priorities while promoting a positive, resilient culture.
What You’ll Bring

- Brings 7+ years’ experience in a strategic, financial, or commercial role within top‑tier consulting or an internal strategy/transformation team.
- Strong understanding of financial concepts such as budgeting, forecasting, cost analysis, and financial modelling, with the ability to build and interpret business cases.
- Has played a key role in delivering a multiyear cost‑out programme or large-scale transformation, ideally in retail or FMCG.
- Action‑oriented, capable of identifying opportunities, driving change, and delivering cross‑functional improvements.
- Comfortable working in an unstructured, fast‑paced, consultative environment focused on value creation.
- Demonstrates a strong work ethic, proactive mindset, and ability to turn ideas into real, measurable outcomes.
