Location
You can be based at your nearest Primark store, but the role involves travel across all Primark stores in ROI & NI, and regular trips to our offices in Dublin, and occasional trips to Great Britain. 3 days in store/office per week minimum.
What You’ll Do as a Talent Acquisition Specialist – Retail, ROI & NI
At Primark we do it our way…so here is a taste of what you can expect in the role:
- Establish yourself as a subject matter expert, becoming a true partner to the region to define the short to mid-term view of recruitment requirements to fulfil business needs, including identifying potential risks
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to shape, plan and deliver a progressive recruitment strategy for the region (ROI & NI -48 stores) to ensure we fulfil their recruitment requirements to deliver their business objectives
- Accountable for the full end to end recruitment lifecycle of Retail Management positions within your region ensuring the selection process is fair and consistent, in line with Primark policies
- Ensure the Primark Branding / EVP is reflected throughout the whole recruitment process.
- Build and maintain effective talent banks for key roles and key locations
- Effectively manage and monitor key metrics relating to all aspects of recruitment and adhere to set SLA’s
- Work closely with hiring managers to increase their capability through feedback and coaching
- Act as a subject matter expert to the Stores in their recruitment of retail non-management roles
- Visiting stores on region to understand their individual recruitment needs and challenges
What You’ll Bring

- A proven recruiter with an in-house or specialist agency background working in either Retail or Hospitality
- Understanding of the recruitment life cycle, inclusive hiring practices and the ability to identify and search for top talent
- Social media skills, with knowledge of how best to use a variety of platforms to attract talent in line with the company EVP
- Excellent cross functional collaboration skills with the ability to engage and influence at all levels
- Can translate data into practical insight to inform decision making
- Keeps up to date with market trends and competitor activity
- Passionate about doing a great job
