What You’ll Do as a Digital Learning Manager

In your role, you’ll collaborate with different people across a range of skillsets. Here’s a flavour of your day-to-day:  

  • Digital Learning Strategy & Infrastructure: Lead the strategy, design, and ongoing management of Primark’s global digital learning platform, ensuring it supports capability development and delivers a high-quality learner experience.

  • Content Development & Governance: Oversee the creation, quality, and governance of digital learning content, embedding consistent design principles and ensuring alignment with business needs and learning standards.

  • Technology & Innovation: Drive the exploration and adoption of new learning technologies to enhance performance, efficiency, and innovation across the organisation.

  • Stakeholder Engagement & Collaboration: Partner with leaders and global teams to understand learning needs and co-create impactful digital solutions that support performance and business goals.

  • Capability Building & Leadership: Coach and mentor L&D teams globally, building expertise in digital learning design and technologies, and acting as a subject matter expert across the function.

  • Planning, Evaluation & Continuous Improvement: Manage the digital learning roadmap, establish clear measures of success, and use data-driven insights to continuously improve learning solutions and maximise ROI.

What You’ll Bring

  • Extensive Digital Learning Experience: 8+ years’ experience in digital learning within a global organisation, covering instructional design, content development, platform management, and evaluation.

  • Team Leadership & Collaboration: Proven ability to build, lead, and inspire high-performing learning teams, fostering engagement and collaboration across functions.

  • Technical Expertise: Skilled in using digital learning tools such as Articulate 360, with a strong understanding of current and emerging learning technologies.

  • Learner Engagement & Marketing: Track record of driving learner engagement across the full learning lifecycle, including successful learner marketing campaigns—ideally within a retail environment.

  • Communication & Project Management: Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritising effectively and delivering to deadlines.

  • Passion for Innovation: A genuine passion for learning innovation, with a forward-thinking mindset and curiosity about future trends in digital learning.
