What You’ll Do as a P&C BP

In your role, The People and Culture Business Partner holds an integral role in delivering our transformation and people first strategy. Creating maximum joy for all colleagues. They work in collaboration with our business leaders and functional teams. Our BPs are the essential connection between business strategy, people strategy, internal and external best practices. With a strategic and commercial mindset our BPs add value through both their professional expertise and their leadership qualities.


Here’s a flavour of your day-to-day:  

People Strategy

  • Align People & Culture (P&C) plans with overall business culture and strategy.
  • Collaborate with line managers and leadership to prioritize and deliver the people plan.
  • Share insights and best practices across the P&C Business Partnering team.
  • Build external networks to bring innovative P&C ideas into the business.

Partnership

  • Establish strong, trusted relationships across the Primark business.
  • Coach line managers to lead effectively and understand employee engagement.
  • Maintain collaborative relationships with client groups, P&C colleagues, and COEs.
  • Provide data-driven insights and solutions and manage employee relations systematically.

Talent Development

  • Coordinate the annual performance management process for client groups.
  • Support leadership development through coaching and Make Your Primark initiatives.
  • Facilitate talent reviews to drive career development and succession planning.
  • Identify training needs and collaborate with the Learning COE to implement solutions.
