What You’ll Do:

In your role, you’ll collaborate with different people across a range of departments, markets and skill sets. Here’s a flavour of your day-to-day:

• Factory Safety and Compliance Monitoring;
• Monitoring the activities of fire and safety committees across our supplier factories;
• Ensuring the adequacy of first aid training and related activities;
• Audit and Compliance Management;
• Supplier and Factory Training and Development in Compliance with Primark Standards;
• Functional Contact – Internal & External.

What You’ll Bring

Here at Primark, we want everyone to feel that they belong, and they can bring their best selves to work – so please bring your authentic self, and other key experiences and abilities for this role in particular:

• 5+ years of experience in Compliance or Audit with a focus on Occupational Safety & Health
• In-depth knowledge of fire protection and detection systems, as well as electrical single-line diagrams, with the ability to provide effective pre-audit and post-audit training.
• Strong analytical skills to assess technical standards of fire protection and detection installations, monitoring systems, and operational procedures.
• Experience in developing and implementing improvement plans for underperforming factories to meet both legal requirements and Primark's standards.
• Effective communication and presentation skills are necessary for training various stakeholders, including third-party audit companies and the global ethical trade team.
• IT literate (database, spreadsheets).
