Project Manager New Stores
As a Technology Project Manager at Primark, you will play a key role in supporting the successful delivery of our New Store Opening (NSO) programme in the US. You’ll work closely with Technology Implementation Managers, vendors, and cross-functional teams to streamline processes, coordinate technology buildouts, and identify opportunities for automation. This is an exciting time at Primark as we continue our ambitious US expansion, and this role will help make opening new stores a smooth, repeatable process for the future.
As part of the growing Technology function, you will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, collaborative, and innovative environment. You will be supported to develop your project management expertise while playing an important role in shaping how we deliver technology for our new stores.

What You’ll Do
- Coordinate technology aspects of New Store buildouts, working directly with vendors to track and deliver equipment and services.
- Map and document NSO processes, creating templates and tools to support repeatable delivery.
- Identify opportunities for automation and process improvement and collaborate with technical teams to bring solutions to life.
- Run weekly status meetings, sharing updates on individual store progress as well as overall programme status.
- Track purchase orders, approvals, and spend for each new store.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Store Development, Networking & Infrastructure, Retail Operations, Procurement, and Accounts Payable.
- Document risks, assign ownership, and drive resolution to keep projects on track.
- Ensure compliance with Primark Technology standards and policies.
What You’ll Bring
- 5+ years’ experience in project management, ideally with exposure to large-scale or retail projects.
- Strong process mapping and organisational skills.
- Technical knowledge of retail systems, processes, and infrastructures (desirable).
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- A collaborative, hands-on approach with the ability to work across multiple teams.
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
