This role is tailor-made for you if you want to:
- Lead a portfolio of large-format stores across the Czech Republic and Slovakia, each with significant size, complexity and high customer footfall, including a flagship store in Prague Wenceslas Square with over 200 colleagues and 30 managers.
- Inspire and coach Store Managers to build engaged, high-performing teams and deliver strong results.
- Influence the customer experience across your region, ensuring consistency, excellence and innovation.
- Champion operational excellence – from stock and cost control to health & safety and compliance.
- Make strategic decisions based on data, market trends and customer insights to drive continuous improvement.
- Be a visible leader, supporting your teams on the ground and acting as a brand ambassador for Primark.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, development and inclusion aligned with Primark’s values.
- Lead succession planning and talent development, creating a pipeline of future leaders.
You’re a great fit if you:
- Bring solid senior retail leadership experience, ideally as an Area or Regional Manager in a matrix organisation within the retail sector, where you've successfully led multi-site operations and driven commercial results.
- Have previous hands-on experience as a Store Manager in a fast-paced, high-volume retail environment, giving you a deep understanding of store-level challenges and opportunities.
- Know how to lead large, diverse teams across different locations – and you’re passionate about developing talent, building strong, collaborative cultures and empowering others to grow.
- Think commercially and act strategically, with strong analytical skills and a proven ability to interpret data, identify trends and make decisions that improve performance.
- Are a confident decision-maker, able to prioritise effectively, adapt to changing circumstances and lead teams through transformation and growth.
- Thrive in dynamic environments, where agility, resilience and a proactive mindset are key to success.
- Are ready to travel frequently across the Czech Republic and Slovakia, supporting your teams on the ground and staying close to the business.
- Communicate fluently in Czech and have advanced English skills. Knowledge of Slovak is an advantage.
- Are open to completing your induction in another country.
