What You’ll Do as an Customer Availability Project Manager   (FTC 8months )

In your role, you’ll collaborate with different people across a range of skillsets. Here’s a flavour of your day-to-day:   

  • Project manage delivery of an optimal warehouse operating model across the logistics network, aligning with future supply chain requirements.
  • Partner closely with the WMS project team to define, document and standardise operating procedures across all Primark depots.
  • Map and document end-to-end data and stock flows to support efficient movement of product to stores.
  • Build robust OPEX and CAPEX business cases to support investment decisions and supply chain optimisation initiatives.
  • Define project scope, deliverables, phasing and dependencies in collaboration with the Supply Chain team and wider business.
  • Lead development and execution of the full project plan, including timelines, costs, resources, communications and people impacts.
  • Establish strong project governance through reporting, RAID management, progress updates and management of inter-project dependencies.
  • Engage and influence internal stakeholders, overseas teams and third‑party partners, working cross‑functionally with trading and finance while supporting UK and Ireland travel requirements.

What You’ll Bring   

Here at Primark, we want everyone to feel valued – so please bring your authentic self to work, of course with some other key experience and abilities for this role in particular: 

  • Experience in delivery of complex Supply Chain change projects
  • Experience in using core project management techniques and tools
  • Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems Blue Yonder/Manhattan
  • International freight/logistics experience in a retail environment (desirable)
  • Used to working within a work measured environment and understand how internal depot changes will potentially impact colleagues.
  • Strong Process knowledge and understanding across logistics/supply chain
  • Rigorous and analytical approach to problem solving with the ability to operate under pressure in a fast moving environment.
  • Ability to build effective working relationships across and functions and with 3rd party partners.
  • Ability to quickly assimilate information and spot issues.
  • Ability to deliver robust and sustainable change management through structured delivery plans.
  • Experienced communicator, with ability to frame ideas and concepts in easily understandable terms
