People Systems Workday Technical Analyst

Have you the ability and drive tolead project work streams and carry out development work? Do you have three plus years’ Workday experience (implementer or customer roles) preferably with an ICT or HR background? Do your talents comprise of Workday Absence Management, Talent Management and / or Performance Management? If so, then there might be an opportunity waiting for you as a People Systems Workday Technical Analyst.

Primark began its Workday deployment in 2014; Workday is now the HR Operating system in Ireland, UK, Spain, Portugal, Italy, United States and Italy and will be deployed to all remaining countries within the next two years.

As the business continues to expand globally at a fast pace, you will be responsible for ensuring that current configuration and processes work as designed. You will lead the deployment of new or improved workday functionality and on-going process improvement including configuration, testing, end user engagement, communications and training.

What we’re looking for
  • An analytical mind: Your role will include designing, configuring, testing and deploying Workday process or functional changes based on identified business and functional requirements – including process and testing documentation.
  • Know how to prioritise: You’ll be juggling many responsibilities to strict deadlines, so the ability to prioritise is key, such as ensuring that twice yearly workday releases go live successfully.
  • Great communication skills: You will work closely with many stakeholders including the people systems integration team. The role involves you being a core support contact for workday queries acting as an escalation point for complex issues or challenges.
  • Strong organisational and presenting skills: You will drive and develop training and materials, whilst executing persuasive presentation skills with the ability to present complex information in an understandable manner to all areas of the business.
