Role: Inbound Supply Chain Administrator
Purpose of role: To manage invoicing process for all inbound activity from rate validation through to payment

Key Responsibilities:
- To be nominated and dedicated point of contact for all Freight Manager(s) invoice processing and queries.
- To accurately validate all Freight Manager invoices for all services provided by our carriers and partners across all modes, Ocean, Air, Road and Rail.
- Have attention to detail to understand and interpret a vast and complex tariff sheet.
- Continuous development of Inbound operation knowledge to support understanding of tariff sheet.
- To be a dedicated focal point for Freight Manager finance teams.
- To monitor and analyse invoicing performance from validation through to payment.
- To reconcile Freight Manager statement of accounts and work with Freight Manager and Primark finance teams to investigate and resolve in a timely manner.
- Communicate as required any issues impacting Freight Manager accounts.
- Regular engagement with Freight Manager teams to discuss current/ongoing issues through to resolution.
- To be key contact for internal operations teams (Origin and Destination) for invoice approval queries and engage accordingly to resolve any validation queries.
- Regular engagement with Primark finance teams to discuss current/ongoing invoice issues through to resolution and final payment.
- To produce and assist in reporting on KPIs for Freight invoices.
- Assist in audit requirements relating to freight invoicing
- Maintain SOPs for freight invoicing
- Team cover for holidays
- Support for wider team as and when required
The ideal individual will have:
- Customer facing experience within a Retail/FMCG/Supply Chain head office environment with a minimum 1 -3 years in a similar / relevant role
- Good working knowledge of global supply chain process and procedure ideally within garments sector
- Knowledge and experience of P2P process (desirable)
- The ability to thrive in a fast moving pressurized retail environment
- Excellent planning skills and be able to think and plan in advance.
- Experience of large multinational network operations
- Excellent skills in MS Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
- A digital mind set and appetite to embrace new technology solutions
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- Interpersonal skills - discreet, trustworthy and have the ability to build and maintain strong relationships internally and externally

Core Skills
- Educated to degree level with 1+ years of experience in a similar or equivalent role
- Experience working in a retail or FMCG focused head office environment highly desirable
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills - particularly Excel and Powerpoint
