Based in our beautiful Global HQ in Dublin you will provide subject matter expertise on primary and secondary packaging design, construction, material selection to develop effective packaging solutions. Primark has over 50,000 SKU’s all with varying packaging requirements, with an estimated annual spend of over £200m on packaging alone.
We are looking for an individual whois highly organised, who has excellent communication skills and has the ability to work in a high pressurised and fast paced environment.

We are also looking for:
- Independence and discretion: Support development of enterprise-wide packaging targets, identifying, developing, implementing and reporting sustainable initiatives that contribute to Primark’s Sustainability Strategy targets.
- Confident communication: Explore ways to move to circularity in our packaging using more sustainable materials. Advise of trade-offs and develop options that strike the right balance of sustainability, durability and cost.
- Strong organisational and planning skills: Develop and execute an enterprise wide packaging strategy that focusses on form, function, materials, sustainability and cost of primary, secondary and transport packaging.
- Ability to adapt:Be an active member of the packaging CoE to support execution of the packaging strategy to meet corporate targets. Actively seek out packaging innovation as a differentiator from competition.
- Interpersonal skills: Work with Packaging Coordinators to drive continuous improvement of packaging solutions, provide technical and troubleshooting support on packaging issues.
