What You’ll Do:
In your role, you’ll collaborate with different people across a range of skillsets. Here’s a flavour of your day-to-day:
- Supporting the building of the global block library for all departments and deliver block details within critical paths to support the fast-moving product strategy supporting improvements in consistency and right first-time sampling.
- Work with head office stakeholders to ensure the application and use of the Global Block Library is maintained amongst head office teams and suppliers.
- Ensure Primark has the right technical fit for all retail markets, including expanding markets. Ensuring this is maintained throughout all product and category areas.
- Work with the QA and Technologist team to support Buying, Merchandising and suppliers with fit on core shapes and key blocks.
- Ensure the grade rules are adhered to by stakeholders and suppliers and remain in line with the business needs in all retail markets.
- Lead with the QA team on fit related projects and the implementation of 3D Fitting, providing training and technical support with the Clo3D software.
- Able to deliver the 3D fit and vision, in a virtual environment in a fast-paced industry.
- Work closely with Buying, Design, and our supply base, you’ll need to draw on your solid understanding of the business structure and new working processes to ensure 3D Fitting of garments becomes imbedded within the business.
What You’ll Bring

- A creative Cad pattern cutter with a minimum of 5years experience, with an eye for detail. Lectra Modaris preferred.
- Good expertise of how to grade in Mens, Ladies, Childrens a necessity.
- A good knowledge of manufacturing processes across all product areas essential.
- Minimum of 3 years’ proven experience using Clo3D and/ or other 3D software.
- Experience of implementing 3D software into a brand or retailer would be preferable.
- Be passionate about your role, innovative 3D technologies and all aspects of the virtual garment product.
- An excellent communicator, and problem-solving skills.
- Self-motivation and the ability to take the initiative and respond quickly to change.
- Reliable, flexible with a talent to adapt quickly within a fast-paced team.
- Good organisational skills with a good knowledge of Excel spreadsheets, Word, internet, and email packages
