Product Technologist – Socks & Hosiery (Ladies, Men's, Children's)

12-month fixed term contract

Join us in shaping products our customers love! You’ll play a key role in ensuring every product developed and supplied to Primark meets international Quality Assurance Standards and Regulations. Working closely with our buying teams, suppliers, and key stakeholders, you’ll help establish and champion best practices that deliver the quality and value our customers expect and deserve

What You'll Do:

  • Champion Primark’s Quality strategy, ensuring every product is safe, legal, compliant, and customer-ready.

  • Use your technical expertise in socks and hosiery to deliver great fit, performance, and value across ladies’, men’s, children’s, and baby categories.

  • Partner with Buying, Design, and Suppliers to turn creative ideas into commercially successful, high-quality products.

  • Apply strong commercial awareness to develop products across all price points, balancing cost, speed, and compliance.

  • Monitor testing, compliance, and quality benchmarking against industry standards and competitors, ensuring best practice.

  • Solve product development challenges with innovative, solution-focused approaches.

  • Build strong supplier relationships, driving quality improvements and efficiencies through clear communication and collaboration.

  • Lead proactive risk management by identifying issues, monitoring returns, and resolving quality concerns quickly.

  • Share customer and market insights to continually improve product quality and meet evolving expectations.

  • Support, coach, and influence colleagues and stakeholders, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
