What You’ll Do as a Learning & Development Delivery Manager UK/I
In your role, you’ll collaborate with different people across a range of skillsets. Here’s a flavour of your day-to-day:
Regional Learning Strategy & Business Alignment: Develop and implement a progressive learning strategy for colleagues across UK, ROI, and NI, directly supporting business performance, operational excellence, and future growth.
Team Leadership & Culture of Development: Lead a team of learning professionals in a supportive, inclusive environment, fostering a culture of continuous development and empowering the team to deliver impactful learning experiences.
Stakeholder Partnership & Change Enablement: Collaborate with country P&C leaders and business partners to understand market needs, drive change through learning, and contribute to coordinated P&C initiatives that support evolving priorities.
Learning Programme Execution & Engagement: Deliver high-quality learning solutions including workshops, webinars, and blended programmes, tailored to all levels—including senior leadership—to enhance employee experience and engagement.
Operational Excellence & Budget Ownership: Manage the in-market L&D budget and annual learning calendar, ensuring cost-effective delivery of initiatives that are responsive to business changes and local requirements.
Data-Driven Decisions & Governance: Lead the management of the learning platform, leverage data and feedback to inform decisions, and ensure compliance with government initiatives like the Apprenticeship Levy, while continuously improving learning outcomes.
What You’ll Bring
Here at Primark, we want everyone to feel valued – so please bring your authentic self to work, of course with some other key experience and abilities for this role in particular:
Proven L&D Experience: Minimum 5+ years in Learning & Development roles, including at least 3 years in a people management capacity, ideally within a corporate or retail environment.
Learning Design & Delivery Expertise: Strong understanding of learning principles and best practices, with experience delivering training through in-person, virtual, and hybrid formats.
Communication & Facilitation Skills: Excellent presentation, facilitation, and communication skills, with the ability to engage and inspire diverse audiences across multiple levels.
Stakeholder Influence & Collaboration: Skilled at partnering with and influencing senior leaders, with a collaborative approach to driving learning initiatives across a multi-site, distributed workforce.
Strategic Agility & Execution: Capable of managing the timely delivery of strategic initiatives in fast-paced, complex environments, with resilience in the face of change and ambiguity.
Passion for Development & Coaching: Deep passion for people development, with a coaching mindset; formal coaching accreditation is a plus but not essential.
