What You’ll Do as a WMS Configuration Analyst

In your role, you’ll collaborate with different people across a range of skillsets. Here’s a flavour of your day-to-day:  

  • Configure and maintain WMS modules, workflows, RF processes, user roles, and reporting standards across warehouse operations.
  • Support site rollouts, upgrades, and enhancements while ensuring adherence to configuration and platform standards.
  • Provide day‑to‑day operational support, resolving WMS configuration and workflow issues and managing hypercare during go‑lives.
  • Troubleshoot incidents to minimise operational disruption and ensure smooth warehouse execution.
  • Drive continuous improvement by analysing operational processes and implementing efficiency‑focused configuration enhancements.
  • Collaborate with integration, IT, and operations teams to ensure accurate data flow across ERP, TMS, WCS/WES, and MHE systems, while maintaining documentation and delivering training to superusers.

What You’ll Bring

  • Strong understanding of warehouse operations and WMS processes, with hands‑on experience in WMS configuration, support, or system administration (1–3+ years; multi‑site exposure beneficial).
  • Familiarity with enterprise WMS platforms, ideally Manhattan Active WMS, and solid knowledge of WMS architecture and configuration frameworks.
  • Competent technical capability including SQL for troubleshooting/validation and understanding of APIs (REST/SOAP), JSON, and core integration concepts.
  • Proven analytical and problem‑solving skills, able to translate operational requirements into effective, scalable system configurations and improvements.
  • Strong communication, documentation discipline, and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to operate effectively in agile delivery environments.
  • Ability to analyse and resolve complex system or operational issues, driving sustainable solutions across warehouse and system workflows.
