The mission for the Data & Analytics team is to enable and empower our partners across the business to use high impact data & analytics tools, technologies and methodologies to drive business insights & improve business outcomes.

As Data & Analytics Product Manager, you will be responsible for facilitating all technical aspects for the delivery of data and integrations related to the Product Model Programme. Manage the technical plan, risks, issues and governance and provide input into changes and KDD’s

Engage with stakeholders and vendors on delivery. Collaborate between the Data & Analytics team and the Product Model programme team to drive change and successfully deliver Data & Analytics products and services for the Product Model programme.

What You’ll Do as an Product Model – Data & Analytics Tech Data Lead

We want you to feel challenged and inspired. Here, you’ll develop your skills across a range of responsibilities:
  • Have overall accountability for the technology delivery of Data & Analytics products and services to the Product Model programme, ensuring product, project, programme teams and delivery partners work effectively.
  • Provision of the necessary data, integration and architecture to support technical implementation of the data stream requirements, ensuring that IT metrics align with program objectives
  • Provide a clear, articulate and executable strategy & roadmap for the Product Model programme.
  • Work with Product Model team, Data Practice, Analytics Practice and Portfolio Performance Manager to co-create plans and approaches, also includes capacity management.
  • Ensure all initiatives are within timelines and budget.
  • Ensure the Product Model Programme’s data deliverables align with IT objectives and comply with governance. Monitor the adherence to IT quality standards and agile principles across projects
  • Manage risks, assumptions, issues, dependencies and change to ensure delivery of results. Ensure that technological risks and issues are identified and brought to the Programme Teams awareness, suggest mitigation plans and gain approval.
  • Plan and suggest allocation of technical resources based on program and project needs.
  • Technical Collaboration: Work closely with The Tech Heads of Product to ensure that the IT systems meet the business needs.
  • Identify, collate and validate Product Model opportunities that need to be enabled by Data & Analytics products and services.

What You’ll Bring
Here at Primark, we want everyone to feel valued – so please bring your authentic self to work, of course with some other key experience and abilities for this role in particular:
  • A Bachelor or master’s degree in a quantitative field (Operation Research, Computer Science, Engineering, Applied Math, Economics, Statistics, Analytics, Management/Business Information Systems (or related degree).
  • 10+ years of demonstrable experience in related field, along with Team Management & Leadership experience.
  • Up to date on large scale data and analytics technologies, trends and practices.
  • Experience conducting quantitative and qualitative analysis with visualisation and analytics techniques to solve defined business problems.
  • Project management experience involving multiple stakeholders, and prioritising and delegating activities.
