What’s a career at Primark all about? The positive impact you’re making, the experiences you’re having and the people you’re with. You’re our inspiration. Embrace what sets you apart, own your career and develop in ways you never expected. Leave your mark. And do it your way.

What You’ll Get:

The work you do shapes the impact we have. We’re focused on providing you with the culture to reach your potential. Your wellbeing is our top priority.

Lifestyle at Primark: Healthcare, pension, and potential bonus. 27 days of leave, plus bank holidays and if you want, you can buy 5 more. Because Primark is all about tailoring to you, we offer Tax Saver Tickets, fitness centre, and a subsidised cafeteria.

What You’ll Do:

In your role, you’ll collaborate with different people across a range of skillsets. Here’s a flavour of your day-to-day:

  • Lead end-to-end talent assessment initiatives by designing, developing, and delivering key projects, including identifying high-potential senior leaders, providing quality feedback, and implementing robust, fair, and inclusive assessment methods (e.g., assessment centres, interviews, 360 feedback).
  • Manage assessment tools and vendor partnerships by selecting, implementing, and validating psychometric and skills-based tools, while collaborating with external vendors to evaluate offerings and shape impactful solutions for selection and development programmes.
  • Drive innovation and process efficiency by introducing modern platforms and tools to streamline senior talent assessment processes and enhance overall effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver business-aligned solutions by understanding organisational needs, tailoring assessment approaches, building buy-in, and ensuring compliance with all legal, ethical, and regulatory standards.
  • Leverage data and insights to inform talent decisions by analysing group trends, supporting leadership development initiatives, and providing market insights on emerging skills and skills-based organisations.

Develop and embed a robust skills framework by defining and maintaining skills ontology, governance, and data integration across systems, while enabling workforce planning, internal mobility, personalised development, and building organisational capability through training and advocacy.

What You’ll Bring:

Here at Primark, we want everyone to feel valued – so please bring your authentic self to work, of course with some other key experience and abilities for this role in particular:

  • Strong domain expertise and qualifications with significant experience in occupational psychology, senior leadership assessment, and skills-focused roles, supported by a relevant degree in psychology, HR, or a related field.
  • Advanced skills framework and innovation capability including developing global skills ontologies, leveraging skills data for workforce planning, learning, and mobility, and implementing innovative assessment solutions in complex, matrixed organisations.
  • Project and technology proficiency with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively, alongside experience working with HR technology platforms, talent marketplaces, skills intelligence tools, and AI-enabled systems with sound governance awareness.
  • Adaptability and problem-solving mindset demonstrated through high levels of curiosity, flexibility, and the ability to operate effectively in evolving and ambiguous environments.
  • Strong stakeholder management and people focus with proven ability to influence and collaborate

Ready? Good - because we can’t wait to see what you can offer. You’ll be joining a team of innovative and experienced people where you’ll truly belong, collaborating on projects that will shape the future of our industry. Apply to be part of our future and we’ll support you in developing yours.
