The Global Reward Manager provides advice and direction to P&C client groups on all matters of reward (fixed and variable) policy and process. Provides support in the implementation of the Total Reward Strategy, projects, and plans.
The Global Reward Manager is responsible for the delivery of the reward review processes for client groups and is accountable for developing pay policies and initiatives. As a senior member of the reward team, anticipates challenges, provides guidance and support to all team members including direct peers and Head of Reward.
The Global Reward Manager will partner with internal stakeholders such as ABF stakeholders, P&C Directors, Legal, and Finance to ensure the effectiveness and compliance of current and new policies and practices. Provides advice and direction to senior P&C Leaders and Directors on all matters of reward (fixed and variable) policy and process.

What You’ll Do:
In your role, you’ll collaborate with different people across a range of skillsets. Here’s a flavour of your day-to-day:
  • Leadership: You will provide leadership and direction to a team of reward professionals. As a senior member of the reward team, you will anticipate challenges, provides guidance and support to all team members.
  • Client Management & Stakeholders: You will be accountable for a group of clients including any rolled up client/s and the relationships. You will be the escalation point for out of policy request from within the team. You will proactively and continuously develop strong and constructive relationships. You will resolve and implement solutions by coordinating with other departments such as Payroll, Talent, Finance, Legal, Technology, ABF and other P&C colleagues.   • Policy & Processes: You will draft new global policies or make amendments to existing policies taking into consideration cost, simplicity and all populations across Primark. You will contribute to the Reward Strategy with client insights and recommendations. You will act as point of escalation for queries related to policy application and interpretation. You will manage all reward related processes for client group/s, ensuring all processes within own area of accountability are clearly documented as a shared resource and are always up to date.
  • Reward Cycles: You will be responsible for the delivery reward review processes (encompassing all elements and steps) for client groups, in line with the performance and talent processes and business cycles. You will ensure that the team and client group/s are fully prepared, informed and aligned from launch to delivery.
  • Communication: You will independently drafts and delivers decks, training materials, policy documentation encompassing analysis and narrative. You will ensure that all communication is clear and accurate enabling the client group to make appropriate decisions. You will review output of the team where appropriate and ensure all queries are responded to effectively.
  • Analysis: You will be responsible for all requirements relating to costing, budgeting, forecasting and reporting for client group/s including modelling and anticipated needs. You will also be responsible for the delivery of all statutory reporting requirements including calculations, analysis and presentation.
  • External Analysis: You will provide timely insights on market trends and competitor activity, assessing the market position of the client group and making appropriate recommendations. You will drive the survey submission to external benchmarking providers along with chooses data providers for client group.
  • Operational & Vendors: You will undertakes all operational requirements within role and as and when required, working with approved external advisors to obtain and interpret relevant advice. You will ensures vendors meet SLAs, monitoring the quality of vendors service and escalates any concerns, as well as preparing budgets for external vendors.
What You’ll Bring

  • You will ideally have a business degree with a strong financial/data bias. You may hold alternative qualification (such as Accountancy) coupled with 7-10 years’ experience in a similar role.
  • You will bring to this role exceptional knowledge of the regulatory, tax or compliance rules governing key aspects of reward and you stay up to date current with developments in these areas
  • You will have excellent relationship management skills including the proven ability to quickly build strong personal networks with clients and peers.
  • You are highly numerate and analytical with strong interpersonal and planning skills.
  • You have a collaborative and adaptable approach, effectively working with others to achieve team success.
  • You stay up to date and seeks out trends in the reward arena including industry networking.
  • You will bring a solid understanding of all Total Reward policies and principles.
  • You will bring strong general IT and Digital awareness.
