The Digital Learning team at Primark is crucial for supporting the company’s growth by creating transformative learning experiences at scale. As a Learning Experience Designer, you will blend instructional and user-centric design principles to develop impactful learning programs that build immediately applicable skills within our organisation. You will work on global projects, partnering with stakeholders from concept to delivery and evaluation. By fostering connections across Primark, you will deliver holistic solutions that meet the needs of multiple teams, leveraging adult learning theory to ensure learners gain practical skills they can apply right away.

What You’ll Do:
We want you to feel challenged and inspired. Here, you’ll develop your skills across a range of responsibilities:
  • Design Process: Collaborate with stakeholders throughout the design process, ensuring seamless integration of user experience and instructional design principles.
  • Research and Analysis: Conduct discovery sessions and research to understand learner types and preferences. Use data-driven insights to inform design decisions and ensure learning interventions meet desired outcomes.
  • Multi-Media Learning: Develop and market multi-media rich learning programs that are engaging and interactive, leveraging the latest tools and technologies.
  • Learning Activities: Design practical activities such as tutorials, challenges, and case studies that allow learners to apply skills immediately.
  • Adult Learning Theory: Select and apply appropriate learning interventions based on a comprehensive understanding of adult learning theory to achieve desired outcomes.

  • Design and Theory Expertise: Advanced instructional and user experience design skills, with a comprehensive knowledge of adult learning theory.

  • Resilience and Problem-Solving: Ability to bounce back from setbacks quickly, proactive problem-solving skills, and critical thinking.
  • Communication and Storytelling: Enhanced written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex subjects and tell compelling stories.
  • Technical and Analytical Skills: Strong data analysis skills, collaboration skills, and proficiency in building SCORM, video, and animation, with an understanding of Web 3 design principles and AI.
