As a Talent Acquisition Business Partner you will oversee executive and niche recruitment roles across all global markets in Central Functions and manage a small team. Additionally, you will provide specialist support across all of our Central Functions team including Buying Merchandising Design and Quality hiring. The successful candidate will partner with the Business Leadership Teams and the People & Culture community to shape, plan and deliver against Primark’s recruitment needs as well provide subject matter expertise relating to recruitment activities.

What You’ll Do:
In your role, you’ll collaborate with different people across a range of skillsets. Here’s a flavour of your day-to-day:

  • The role will report into the Talent Acquisition Leader and is responsible for working with the team to deliver short and medium term permanent recruitment strategies that will meet Primark’s talent needs.
  • Understand the growth plans and strategic priorities for the business and take a lead on Senior hiring for Primark both internally and externally working with our People and Culture Business Partnering team to identify & fulfil leadership hiring requirements across Central Functions.
  • Be a subject matter expert in recruitment by maintaining awareness of current market trends to make an informed judgement on recruitment activities
  • As part of the TA Management team, you will be responsible for development and coaching of a functionally aligned team to raise their performance and leading by example, ensuring a collaborative team approach. Ensuring knowledge is shared across the wider TA Team and always being an inclusive manager and team player to bring out the best in the teams to create a mutual sense of purpose.
  • Work with the team to ensure more roles are recruited directly over time, as channels become optimised, leading to the cost of recruitment for the function decreasing and the quality of talent within the business increasing and ensuring a direct hiring model is embraced.
  • Partnering across the team and with external partners to develop and implement relevant attraction plans to support the development of any subsequent Target Value Proposition for identified areas in recruitment marketing and communications. Establish Primark as a destination employer and promote brand awareness.

What You’ll Bring
Proven experience of multi-site support function recruitment gained in-house or agency within a in a large organisation.
  • Demonstrable experience of recruiting for senior roles (at Head of and Director level) across multiple disciplines (eg: Finance, Technology, Audit, Legal, Digital, People and Culture) including familiarisation of assessment methodologies.
  • Ability to conduct market analysis and Talent heat maps to input into hiring strategies for identified requirements.
  • Strong focus on the candidate experience and DE&I to ensure an enjoyable candidate experience for all.
  • Experience of driving high performance, as well as experience of developing and motivating a team.
  • Planning and organisation skills, ability to multi-task, plan and prioritise work schedule for self and others within agreed timescales.
  • Proven ability in developing effective working relationships across the organisation.
  • Knowledge of how the end to end candidate experience and ecosystem work together to ensure we attract and retain the best talent.
  • Previous experience in delivering outcomes that improve operational recruitment delivery.
