Growing with Passion: Jessica Torres’ Visual Merchandising Story

My name is Jessica Torres, and I currently work as a Visual Merchandiser at Primark. I joined the company in 2019 as a Sales Assistant, always motivated to grow and take on new challenges. During my time as a Sales Assistant, my managers consistently gave me motivation and support to keep learning and improving, which really helped me believe in my potential.

From the beginning, I was curious about visual merchandising, as I loved how it combines creativity, fashion, and strategy to transform the store. In 2024, I achieved my goal and became a Visual Merchandiser. This opportunity meant a lot to me, as it reflects my hard work, dedication, and passion for the role. What I like most is being able to work in a dynamic environment where I feel at home and where everyone helps each other. That’s what I find at Primark. What motivates me is teamwork, the opportunity for growth, staying informed about new products, and helping customers. It’s also a very multicultural workplace, which makes it special - we truly feel at home, respected, and included.

What I enjoy most about my role is how dynamic it is. Every day is different, and I have the opportunity to think creatively and make the store visually appealing for our customers. Fashion has always been my passion, and this role allows me to express that while improving the customer experience.
