Our core teams touch on projects within the Property, Technology and Digital, Commercial and Supply Chain sectors. To succeed here, you'll need to be an expert relationship builder with incredible planning, organisational, and communication skills. The international Tax team at Primark is responsible for ensuring that we are compliant with and deliver against ever-changing external legislation across all markets we operate in. From Corporate Tax to Indirect Tax such as VAT as well as Employment Tax, we have specialist teams across each of these areas – and now we're looking to expand.

We need driven, ambitious, and solutions-focused strategists with good attention to detail to keep us moving forward. Build meaningful relationships with business stakeholders as you represent the Tax team in wider business forums.

Because when you speak, people listen

Our Financial Reporting teams are responsible for period, quarterly, and annual reporting on our finances. They present senior leaders with timely and accurate results.

Here we report across various areas of the business such as property, capital expenditure, operating costs, sales and stock. As part of the team, you'll have the opportunity to see the inner workings of the business, work on exciting new projects and most importantly, develop your skills and career.

As you're working with very important numbers, you'll need to pay excellent attention to detail. Use your strong analytical mindset and your commercial awareness to communicate your incredible work with colleagues and stakeholders across the business.

REAL PROJECTS,
REAL IMPACT

  • What we're up to:

    Right now, an ongoing project is building out our Risk and Compliance teams, and their programmes of work. As we're making big changes, our work will need to be focused on developing and implementing plans in different regulation areas, with a focus on environmental and social. Part of this is implementing our risk processes from top to bottom across the business, and rolling out a Risk Awareness Programme. These projects are huge, global, and influence Primark's future!

  • Because we never stop learning

    We've launched a "Build Your Own Workflow" programme using Alteryx, which allows Finance professionals to acquire key skills. They're getting hands-on with courses in analytics, Tableau and Power BI, among others.

    We're also working on using robotic processes to automate, and part of it is hiring the superstars that'll thrive here – you.

The majority of our Finance teams are based in our Dublin HQ, and our Payroll teams are led from the Reading Regional Office, with colleagues in our international markets.
