What You’ll Do as an Inclusion and Community Impact Advisor
We’re looking for a highly motivated, creative and organised individual to join our team as an Inclusion and Community Impact Advisor (I&C Advisor) based in Arthur Ryan House, Dublin. You’ll support day to day operations within the team, leading on key charity and community impact initiatives, work closely with our charity partners and help to engage our colleagues and customers - driving advocacy and pride around Primark’s purpose.
If you're passionate about inclusion, wellbeing and social impact, this is an opportunity to make a real difference. Previous experience in D&I, Wellbeing or Charity Partnerships is not required – in this team you’ll learn on the job.
In your role, you’ll collaborate with different people across a range of skillsets. Here’s a flavour of your day-to-day:
- Develop and nurture relationships with our key charity partners, building trust and working collaboratively to achieve mutual goals.
- Manage, embed and enhance our key global and local charity partnerships across our markets and network of stores, creating ways to engage stakeholders and ensure charity partnerships are authentic, impactful and aligned to our purpose and strategy.
- Advise, influence and partner with stakeholders and partners to deliver events and activations for some of our most established partnerships and campaigns at global and local level.
- Create and lead a volunteering programme for both office and retail teams, creating opportunities for colleagues to make a difference in our communities and help to create a sense of purpose, belonging and connection.
- Develop and manage an impact map of inclusion and community impact activity across Primark, turning this information into compelling stories that tell our colleagues and customers who we are and what we care about.
- Use your communication and copywriting skills to help build engaging communications materials for key campaigns and projects.
- Research new ways of “giving back” through activities & events that drive employee engagement, inclusion, social impact and heighten awareness of Primark ‘s values and purpose.
- Manage and maintain budgets, requests and donations within our wider Inclusion and Community Impact team.
What You’ll Bring

- Experience coordinating projects from end to end and working collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders
- Excellent communication skills with experience of using analytics tools to measure and monitor impact and turning data from various sources into meaningful insights and engaging stories
- Self-motivated with a high level of energy and drive and a positive “can do” attitude
- Innovative, resourceful and highly organised with excellent attention to detail
- Experience working in a fast-paced and dynamic retail environment
- A genuine passion for diversity, equity, inclusion, social impact and community outreach and a human-centric approach.
- Knowledge of the charity/non-profit sector and principles is beneficial, but not essential – you’ll learn all of this on the job!
