The role of the Group Energy manager is to support the business in managing all aspects of Energy across Primark’s estate of stores, office and depots globally. You will be tasked in ensuring that Primark is meeting its global Energy management and compliance requirements, meeting budget expectations, implementing best practice whilst managing a vast array of energy operations and live contracts..

What You’ll Do:
We want you to feel challenged and inspired. Here, you’ll develop your skills across a range of responsibilities:
  1. Support the delivery of Primark’s Energy and wider Sustainability Strategy within our Direct Operations;
  2. Ensure legal compliance related to Energy management in each operating market through the framework of ISO50001
  3. Govern all energy related operations, including supplier contracts, consultant bodies
  4. Act as the Energy budget owner, responsible for the all the relevant reporting, forecasting and governance.
  5. Develop and implement business wide communications, reporting and training activities to drive awareness and reduce overall consumption
What You’ll Bring

  1. Primary qualification in Energy management/engineering
  2. 5+ years in a similar type role
  3. Have a good working knowledge of relevant energy practices
  4. Experience of managing a suite of energy contracts in multiple regions
  5. Retail or High-Demand Goods experience.
