What You’ll Do as a Finance Associate – Indirect Taxes

In your role, you’ll collaborate with different people across a range of skillsets. Here’s a flavour of your day-to-day:  

• Prepare and submit Indirect Tax and Statistical returns accurately and on time across all jurisdictions.
• Coordinate with external advisors to ensure compliance with all tax obligations.
• Manage VAT payments and refunds, ensuring timely processing and accurate posting to accounts.
• Reconcile VAT/Sales tax entries with the General Ledger and ensure period-end accuracy.
• Support internal and external audits and maintain proper tax records in line with local requirements.
• Monitor legislative changes and collaborate with the tax team to improve compliance processes 

What You’ll Bring as a Finance Associate – Indirect Taxes

• Actively pursuing or interested in an Accounting or Tax qualification (e.g., ACCA, ACA, CTA, Tax Technician).
• Flexible and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong financial and analytical skills with demonstrable experience.
• Previous experience in a tax environment, particularly VAT compliance.
• Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; European language proficiency is an advantage.
