Our ambitious Data and Analytics teams start by developing data. They ensure our data warehouse is managed to perform and that our data is available, accurate and can be transferred across business projects, stores, and online. They're also storytelling pros, visualising and reporting their findings to decision-makers.

Well, we've already made great strides, implementing reporting and data-analytics systems that mean we're data-informed, as and when we need it. Our omnichannel approach means data underpins everything we do – and we do mean absolutely everything, from stock in stores to KPI framework.

Now it's time to look to the future. We're integrating new systems, and the challenge is to do it without breaking the process, so we're going in cloud-first. You can also look forward to incredible training from our Primark Data Academy. Because people are at the heart of what we do, your analytics don't only provide strategy in terms of products and pricing. They also allow us to survey how our colleagues feel, and what they need to be their best selves.

Our central team focuses on data services – that's architecture and engineering, data governance, quality and analytics, and management. But we have business-facing partners too, and they manage Data's relationship with other teams like Digital, Retail, and Supply Chain.

They work together – and with a modern tech stack – to develop data-driven approaches to any challenge we face on this exciting journey.
